KASC BOARD ELECTIONS
The KASC Board of Directors is made up of educators and parents from across Kentucky. Delegates from member schools elect board members to serve three-year terms, with elections for open seats held at our annual conference.
We are always looking for parents, teachers, principals, and others serious about the role of school councils and reaching the state’s proficiency goals to be involved in our organization.
The KASC Board of Directors includes representatives from each region of the state. The board also includes at-large seats that can be filled by people from other backgrounds. Board members serve three-year terms. For a complete list of board members’ duties, see the page devoted to the KASC Constitution under the About Us tab on the main page, which also provides other information about the KASC board.
Elections are held each year at the delegate assembly during the KASC annual conference. This year the election will take place on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at the Louisville Galt House.
If you are not sure of regions, our Regional Map lists all districts in each region.
If you are interested in serving on the board or have questions about the election process or duties of board members, please contact Ruth Morrison at (859) 238-2188 or by e-mail.
