ESSENTIALS OF ON-DEMAND WRITING –Effectively assess your students’ learning in a real-world context. The goal of on-demand writing in the statewide assessment system is to measure students’ application of the writing standards. In this three-hour workshop, teachers will:

  • learn the essential elements of on-demand testing
  • examine the characteristics of each mode of writing
  • learn strategies for improving writing instruction in the classroom

This nuts-and-bolts workshop is ideal for beginning teachers or experienced teachers who have moved into a writing assessment grade level.

NEW! TEACHER’S TOOLBOX – Our Teacher’s Toolbox is a three-hour exploration of the greatest hits of the research-based instructional strategies that teachers request most:

  • differentiating instruction
