GO DEEPER WITH CUSTOMIZED PD AND ASSISTANCE
Our on-site support service was designed to meet schools' desire to get outside advice that could build school and individual needs and boost internal capacity.
We've built a top-notch group of KASC Consultants who deliver our training and PD and are also available to work with schools in a one-on-one setting. We can connect you with superintendents, principals, Highly Skilled Educators, experienced teachers, and parent advocates to meet your schools needs.
Our team can take professional development deeper or help with troubleshooting or collaborate to produce ideas that can move your school toward higher performance.
> WHAT ARE SOME OF THE OPTIONS?
After attending our CLOSING THE DISABILITY GAP PD, our on-site support offered an individual school coaching to help identify baseline data and goals that can be used in special needs students' IEPs. We helped increase understanding for addressing 504 plans. We provided feedback on teacher plans for achieving IEP goals. Our support also provide help in developing plans for individual students that address different issues than the IEP.
From our DEVELOPING A POSITIVE SCHOOL CULTURE PD, our on-site support can deliver coaching on how to help kids develop high expectations for themselves, guidance in exploring barriers to a positive culture, feedback on strengths and areas for improvement in school culture, and help in building relationships and creating a welcoming school. We might also coach your school on brain-research and classroom management
To improve school council effectiveness, we can observe a council meeting and providing feedback, discuss past agendas and minutes with council members to find out more about where the council is spending its time, lead the council through the process of reviewing and revising policies, coach to make council or committee meetings more inclusive and productive, or help to organize committee structure and function.
Our team can shadow a principal with feedback and discussion time throughout the day; help a faculty team with planning by improving test score analysis; or model strategies for teachers to improve an area like writing or scoring Open-Response items.

We'll ask questions and assesses the specific needs of the school, then contact a facilitator. We ask the facilitator to contact the principal and go over the scope of the project so that everyone is on the same page. After talking with the facilitator again, KASC sends an email to the principal and facilitator spelling out both the goals for the on-site support and the costs.
