Applications sought for Kentucky’s Teachers Advisory Council
(FRANKFORT, KY) – Applications are being sought for the Kentucky Department of Education’s (KDE’s) Teachers Advisory Council (TAC).
TAC is designed to improve the Commonwealth’s educational landscape by providing the commissioner of education with direct input from Kentucky's classrooms. Bridging the gap between policy and practice, it was created to advise the commissioner on educational priorities so that Kentucky’s students are well-prepared. The ultimate goal is to have effective teaching in every school, every classroom, every day.
TAC members serve three-year terms and are required to attend four meetings per year. For additional details regarding the TAC, review KDE’s TAC webpage.
Educators who are interested in serving must submit a TAC membership application by Aug. 31. For more information, email Stacy Noah.
