Throughout the organization’s history, KASC has maintained a team dedicated to top-notch member service. We try to find answers promptly, create ready-to-use training and materials, and connect members with needed resources. We’re parents and educators, too.

 

Liz Erwin - KASC Associate Executive DirectorLIZ ERWIN, Associate Executive Director

Before coming to KASC as associate executive director in 2022, Liz served as principal of Paint Lick Elementary, a National Blue Ribbon School, in Garrard County.  Previously, she was assistant principal for Woodlawn Elementary in Boyle County and a teacher and council member in the Danville Schools. She loves to cook, travel, and read.   e-mail


RONDA HARMONExecutive Director

Ronda served as associate executive director for 12 years before becoming KASC’s director in 2006. She has served on an elementary school council as a teacher member, and on middle school and high school councils as a parent representative.  e-mail


LYNNE KEENEducation Leader

Originally from London, Ky., Lynne taught biology and chemistry. She served as instructional supervisor in Marion County and worked as a field-experience coordinator and instructor at St. Catharine College in Springfield.     e-mail


JENNIFER MOORE, Financial Coordinator

Jennifer was born in San Diego, California, but she moved to Frankfort and graduated from high school in Kentucky. She has one child in the Boyle County Schools. Her favorite things to pass the time are reading, cooking, and landscaping.     email


FAITH RODGERS, Data Coordinator

Faith is a Boyle County native and graduated from Boyle County High School. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading.    email

LYNNE SLONELegal Counsel

Lynne is an attorney in Lexington and has been a school council member. Prior to returning to private practice, she worked in the state Attorney General’s office, where she authored several opinions on issues involving school councils.


 

Kelly Odell, Training Leader

Kelly has 22 years of experience in the education field.  During that tenure she has been a teacher, instructional coach, and principal.  She was born and raised in Tupelo, MS and moved to Kentucky, to her husband’s hometown, in 2013.  She lives in Harrodsburg on a thoroughbred farm with her husband and children.
