Application for the 2021-2022 VIRTUAL Adolescent Literacy Project (ALP)
MS/HS Disciplinary Literacy: Science, Social Studies, ELA & Math!
Experience strategies, lesson sequences, and tools to enhance students’ learning
Special emphases:
- CER and CERR / Argument in Content-Area Instruction
- Trauma-Informed Teaching in the Era of Covid-19 and Beyond
- Anti-Racist Teaching
- Reading and Writing in STEM
- National Board Certification Support in Math to Integrate Reading and Writing
EILA Credit Available!
$500 Stipend* for completing the program, including the submission of student
work samples and documentation of your implementation of a school-year action plan
Summer Dates: JUNE 10, 11, 28, 29, and JULY 8, 9, 9 am-1:00 pm, Online Meetings
+ 2 School-Year Sessions, University of Louisville:
- September (TBA) — bring initial implementation report and student work samples for analysis
- November (TBA) — present drafts of implementation report and prepare for ShareFair
+ Presentation at the April 2022 ShareFair
